President Barack Obama signed the budget of the United States for 2017 to the needs of national defense, which helps Ukraine in the field of security increased to $350 million.
“Estimates of aid to the security of Ukraine in fiscal year 2017 is increased, compared to the $300 million pledged in the same document for 2016”, – stated in the message of the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States on the Facebook page.
The document envisages to allocate funds for providing assistance to Ukraine in the security sphere, including with lethal defense weapons . The list of types of assistance extended by the inclusion of funds and technical support for the development of an integrated system of monitoring of the state border of Ukraine, as well as assistance in the preparation of staff officers and military high command of the APU.
